24th of July

We had an uber fun day yesterday!!

First we went to the parade with Aly, Emily, and Cory. Notice I don't have any pictures of Aly or the parade this is because Aly was a little late and we were too busy trying to get candy to focus on pictures. That is right. a bunch of twenty something year olds were fighting over candy with a bunch of 6 year olds....we are cool like that. Don't Judge.

They are such a cute couple its disgusting.

Then after that. Alyson babysat Mina {we are lucky to have friends willing to help out} so Wes and I could go see the AMAZING SPIDER MAN. Aside from it being a really clean movie, i loved the story line and the acting WAY more then the dumb Tobey Maguire one.

After that Wes went to play Ultimate Frisbee with Cory. Then they came back and we hung out til FIREWORKS

I snapped a few {and by few i mean like a hundred} pictures of the fireworks.

This is not an incredibly crafted firework. This is Casey. He would like all the ladies out there to know he is single and ready to mingle. 

Weekend of PARTAY

This weekend my birth daughter Josie came to visit we had lots of fun. 

She is slightly {read: madly} obsessed with Mina. We went to Ogden and to Hyrum Beach. We also went to Tiffany's birthday party in Brigham city

My Friend Eric came home from his mission and we all went to go to his homecoming! So happy he is home.

We went to the Cache Valley Cruise In and Wes was enamored by this batmobile

We also went on a triple date to second dam. we went shooting then roasted starburst, hot dogs, and marshmallows. 

Guys...lastly i married a stud. He is HAWT!!

A Walk for Alzheimers

This year my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Although my relationship with her hasn't been what it should be the past 2 or so years, she is still important to me and I love her. 

My Grandma is a good lady and she has a lot of really amazing experiences and stories that she has shared with me. I would hate for her to not be able to share them with my younger siblings. And even if they don't fix Alzheimer's in her lifetime,Maybe they can for people like my mother who is now at risk genetically. 

I decided to join in on the Alzheimer's Association Walk.

Little Miss Sunshine

no this isn't a post about little miss sunshine....although i do LOVE that movie. A LOT.

this is Mina

Well once upon a time, there was this baby named Mina. She cried for most hours of the day and I thought I was surely going to die from exhaustion and emotional damage. too my delight she has turned into the happiest baby ever! i love  it!! (not that i didn't love her when she was naughty.)

p.s. Mina can now crawl (pretty good...still grasping it completely) and she can also PULL HERSELF UP. she does it in the crib all the time! blows my mind.
